The workshop brought together library and information professionals, educators, researchers, records managers, and knowledge practitioners to explore innovative approaches to collaboration, emerging technologies, and the future of information services. The event provided a platform for participants to share experiences, exchange ideas, and develop practical strategies for leveraging digital innovation to enhance knowledge management, information access, and service delivery. Through presentations, discussions, and networking opportunities, the TCBM staff gained valuable insights into fostering partnerships and creating sustainable knowledge ecosystems in an increasingly digital world.

Thanks to the Director Tropics College of Business and Management for giving its staff the opportunity to attend the two-day ULIA workshop. A valuable learning experience broadened their knowledge, enhanced professional skills, and provided practical insights that they can apply in our work. We truly appreciate your support, trust, and commitment to staff development. Thank you for investing in staff growth and for creating opportunities that enable us to represent our institution and learn from fellow professionals. I look forward to applying the knowledge gained to improve our library services and contribute even more effectively to our team’s goals.

In addition, thanks goes to ULIA committee for its commitment to promoting professional development and strengthening the Library and Information Science (LIS) sector in Uganda through continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.

ABOUT THE LIBRARY Tropics College of Business and management Library is located at the ground floor of the institutional storage building in Iganga.
