ABOUT THE LIBRARY
Tropics College of Business and management Library is located at the ground floor of the institutional storage building in Iganga. It consists of a sitting capacity of eighty users and print volumes, journal titles and students research reports plus electronic resources and wireless internet coverage enabling students and staff with wireless devices to access the internet while in and around the library.

To select, acquire, organize, preserve, and provide access to comprehensive and relevant library materials and digital resources.
MAJOR OBJECTIVE
The major objective of the library is to ensure that the College, through the library, provides materials, services and facilities to support the learning, teaching and research studies of the Students and Staff members of the College and that Library materials, services and facilities are used equitably and appropriately.

**ULIA Two-Day Workshop on “Synthetic Synergies” at Das Berliner Hotel**
Tropics College of Business and Management (TCBM) supported two members of its staff who attended the Uganda Library and Information Association two-day professional workshop at Das Berliner Hotel under the theme “Synthetic Synergies”. The workshop brought together library and information professionals, educators, researchers, records managers, and knowledge practitioners to explore innovative approaches to collaboration, emerging technologies, and the future of information services. The event provided a platform for participants to share experiences, exchange ideas, and develop practical strategies for leveraging digital innovation to enhance knowledge management, information access, and service delivery. Through presentations, discussions, and networking opportunities, the TCBM staff gained valuable insights into fostering partnerships and creating sustainable knowledge ecosystems in an increasingly digital world.
Thanks to the Director Tropics College of Business and Management for giving its staff the opportunity to attend the two-day ULIA workshop. A valuable learning experience broadened their knowledge, enhanced professional skills, and provided practical insights that they can apply in our work. We truly appreciate your support, trust, and commitment to staff development.
